Island PD Day 2019
In keeping with our mission to enable Christian educators to effectively prepare students for life, ACSI offers professional development days specifically designed to benefit teachers and administrators within our member schools. It is also a good opportunity to meet with colleagues and continue to build a support network for your school.

Keynote Speaker: Sandra Paetkau
Sandra has 18 years classroom experience and began experimenting with technology in the classroom in 1997, when she was responsible for rolling out a 1:1 laptop program at the Australian International School in Jakarta, Indonesia. Since then, technology has evolved significantly and so has Sandra’s enthusiasm for leveraging technology in the classroom to empower learners. Sandra spent time in the Middle East working with schools in Saudi Arabia to integrate technology in their classrooms as well as speaking/presenting at teacher conferences, universities, and an international educational technology forum in Dubai.
